Claire R. Wichterman, 75, wife of Robert L. Wichterman, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2011.

Claire and Bob had been married for 54 years. She is survived by her husband Robert; their children Robert L., Jr., who is married to Rosalie Witmer; William B., who is married to Dana Williamson; and Susan C., who is married to Ken Bourgoin; and her brother Lt. Col. John Rollins (ret.). They have 11 grandchildren.

Claire was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church for almost 41 years. She was very active in the church, having served on many committees, plus contacting visitors and new members.

Claire was an artist who showed and sold her paintings up and down the East Coast. She was best known for her ready smile, her infectious laugh, and her abiding love for the Lord. She was full of life to the end. Claire led and hosted many international students through her work for American Home Life International. She was employed in the field of marketing for many years. Claire was very active reaching out to those in need, especially shut-ins. She will be missed.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, at 11 a.m., at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2151 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA. Visitation hours will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the Church.
