Claire M. Niznik, 79, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Conestoga View Nursing Home.

Born in Larksville she was the daughter of the late Anna (Doroskewicz) and Andrew Niznik Jr.

Claire worked as a hair dresser for many years. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She was also a member of AARP and enjoyed crocheting in her spare time.

Clair is survived by 2 brothers; Andrew M. Niznik of Larksville and Joseph J. Niznik of Pringle.

She was preceded in death by a brother Bernard Niznik.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 7, 2008 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church 501 Orange St. Lancaster 17602 at 11 AM with the Rev. Daniel Mitzel as celebrant. A viewing will be held from 10 AM until time of service. Interment will be at St. Stephen's Cemetery, Lehman PA.
