Obituary

Our beloved mother Claire A. Manbeck (Webber) born on March 11, 1931, in Auburn, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully June 24, 2025, at the age of ninety-four.

She was born to Florence M. and Francis M. Webber, who were lifelong residents of Schuylkill County.

Mom was a graduate of Pine Grove High School class of 1948 and Central Penn Business School. She and Dad were married November 15, 1953. Our beloved father Leroy Manbeck preceded her in death on January 21, 2022.

We were blessed to live in various cities on the east coast due to our father being enlisted in the U. S. Navy, and the U.S. Air Force. Mom also worked outside her home while raising three children with dad. She was a retiree of Highmark in Camp Hill, PA.

Her joys in life were her family, gardening – flowers and vegetables, baking pies and zucchini bread, keeping a tidy home, all the things she learned as a child. Kindness and love for her family and others were her strengths.

Mom is survived by her children, Debra Dissinger (Rick), Ronald Manbeck (Christine), and Michael Manbeck (Patti).

She was a proud and loving grandmother to Emily Belt (David), Ryan Manbeck (Becky), Abigail Manbeck, Lindsay Gosselin (Pete), and Greg Dissinger (Lauren). She was also a cherished great-grandmother to Ethan and Jacob, Hadley, Colton, Cameron, Connor, Mason, and Luka.

Mom's siblings who survive her are Bernice Wilson and Donald Webber. Her brother Ernest preceded her in death at the age of thirteen.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of Claire's life on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, beginning at 11 AM. A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment to follow at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in mom's memory to: St. John's Lutheran Church 44 W. Main St. Shiremanstown, PA 17011 or to the American Heart Association P.O. Box 840692 Dallas TX 75284-0692 (or online).

We are extremely grateful to the staff and friends at Keystone Villa – Ephrata where she resided, Maple Farm where she rehabbed and spent her last days and Wellspan Ephrata Hospital.
