Christine Larkin, 58, of West Grove, Pa., formerly of Lancaster, passed away, Wednesday, September 23, 2009. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Betty (Ruof) Snerringer and the late John Ruof.

Christine was a graduate of Immaculata University. She was employed by State Farm Insurance before her retirement earlier this year. Christine was a former member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church. She was an avid reader and loved to spend time with her children and family.

Surviving in addition to her mother, Betty are 2 children; Matthew Larkin, and Erin Larkin. A sister; Susan Wentling, and a brother Steve Ruof.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church 2427 Marietta Ave. Lancaster 17601 with Rev. Peter I. Hahn as Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery. Family and friends will be received after the interment at the Luncheon.
