Chester Lee Bender, 64, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the loving husband of Michelle (Hinderliter) Bender to whom he shared 19 years of marriage. Born in Lancaster, PA he was the son of to Nancy (Duke) Rineer and the late Chester Bender. Chester was an avid hunter and enjoyed his sci-fi movies. He will be remembered as a passionate outdoorsman who loved his family. In addition to his loving wife, Michelle, he is survived by his three children; Jason Bender of Denver, CO, Derrick Bender of Denver, CO and Sabrina Vigil of Manheim, PA; two step-daughters Monique Koudelka of Denver, CO and Kristine Koudelka of Grove, OK. He is also survived by his sister Linda Jones and 14 grandchildren. There will be a Funeral Service at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 11AM officiated by Pastor Brad Brunner. Friends and family will be received one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
