Charlotte Rose( née Owston), 101, of Lancaster, PA, formally of Havertown, PA passed away peacefully on December 10, 2024. She was the wife of the late Frank Theis, Jr., who predeceased her in 2012.

Charlotte was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 17, 1923 to James and Mary Owston. Charlotte is survived by her daughter, two grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nephews and niece.

Her greatest rewards were her faith, and being a devoted member to Saint Mary's in Lancaster and Sacred Heart in Havertown where she was parishioner and volunteer for 50 years. Faith and family were the cornerstone of Charlotte's life.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 119 S. Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603. A visitation will take place from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. There will be a ministry lunch following mass with burial to take place immediately afterward at Holy Cross Cemetery, 626 Bailey Road, Yeadon, PA 19050.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Charlotte will be remembered for her kindness, faith, and devotion to her family.
