Charlotte A. "Charlene" Stewart, of Lancaster, born December 22, 1939, the daughter of Viola Stewart and Jeremiah Joseph Stewart, passed away surrounded by family on July 23, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert P. Williams to whom she was married for 65 years.

Charlotte enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to Barry White and playing cards. She looked forward to family functions, surrounded by her grandchildren. Charlotte retired from Armstrong after 24 years of service and then worked for the School District of Lancaster for 5 years.

Charlotte is survived by sisters Geraldine Beasley and Beatrice Stewart and brother Robert Gardner,husband of Rebecca Grosh-Gardner, all of Lancaster and sons John P. Stewart husband of Elisa, Robert D. Stewart, Walter V. Stewart and Kaiki M. Stewart, husband of Teresa, all of Lancaster; 27 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Bernadette Stewart; 13 brothers; and 4 sisters.

Home Going services will be held at 2PM, Monday, July 31, 2017, at Ray's Temple, 49 S. Ann St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Family and friends will be received at the church for a viewing from 1PM until the time of service. Interment will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
