Charlotte Opdenaker, 78, died peacefully surrounded by her family on March 20, 2012. She formerly resided in Parkside, Delaware County for 45 years before moving to Lancaster 10 years ago. She was a graduate of Nether Providence High School and a former member of Our Lady of Charity parish.

She was a member of St. John Neumann parish in Lancaster and a member of the Christmas Bazaar group at the church. She was a very creative person who loved doing arts and crafts but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her son, Joey.

Survivors: Husband of 60 years, Charley, Children: Mick of Aston, Bob of Wilmington, DE, Steve of Parkesburg, Jim of Quarryville, Mary Pryor of Atglen, Diane Kay of Manheim, Dan of Mohrsville, Brothers: Raymond of West Palm Beach, FL and Richard of Orlando, FL, 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 East Delp Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 with Father Richard Maloney as Celebrant.  Family and friends will be received from 12-2 at church.  Interment will be private.  To send the family online condolences, please visit SnyderFuneralHome.com.
