Obituary

Charles F. O'Neill, 79, passed away Monday, October 23, 2017. He was the loving husband of Kay O'Neill for 30 years. Born in Locust Gap, PA he was the son of the late Hannah (Kane) and Francis B. O'Neill.

Charlie was a graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School and attended Stevens Trade. He was a proud Cold War Veteran, serving in the United States Army in Germany. He was previously employed as a Technician and Draftsman at Hamilton Watch. A D&E/Windstream Engineering Associate by trade, Charlie was a lover of sports. He was particularly fond of the Oakland Raiders. He enjoyed tennis, golf and loved to watch the Olympics. He enjoyed watching Nascar and attending auto shows in his free time.

In addition to his wife, Kay, Charlie is survived by his sister, Rose Miller (Ronald) of Lititz; 2 nieces: Sherry Lane (John) of Manheim, Tracey Dufresne (Chris) of Windsor Locks, CT; an aunt: Anna Marie Bare (Elmer) of Lititz; several great nephews and a great niece; and 2 great great nephews. He is also survived by his 2 beloved pets: Miss Darla and Mr. Mikey.

A Christian Prayer Service will be held at 11:30AM on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz PA 17543. Friends and family will be received from 10:30AM – 11:30AM. Interment will be follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Our Mother of Perpetual Help- Benevolent Fund, 320 Church Avenue, Ephrata, PA 17522
