Obituary

Charles E. Musser, 68, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, June 13, 2008 at Hospice of Lancaster County Essa Flory Center. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Edgar Musser and Elizabeth (Resh) Musser.

Charles graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School, where he played basketball. After graduating he served in the Army. Charles worked for over 35 years as a technician for RCA. During this time he helped develop parts for a special camera for NASA for the lunar landing mission. He received a medallion for his work for NASA. While at RCA he won technician of the year several times. Charles was always involved in his children's activities. This includes coaching sports teams, scout master, and music lessons. Charles was an avid sports fan.

Charles is survived by 4 children; Sylvia M. wife of Fred Nicora of Cedar Grove Wisconsin, Mark A. Musser of Lancaster, John C. Musser of Lancaster, and Linda B. Honeybone of Mount Joy. 6 grandchildren. A brother; John J. Musser of Baton Rouge LA and a sister; Betty Huegel of Virginia.

He is preceded in death by a brother James Musser and a sister Gertrude Preperato.

A Christian Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home 414 E. King. St. Lancaster 17602 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Daniel Mitzel as celebrant. Friends will be received at the funeral home before the service from 10:30-11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 314 Good Drive, Lancaster, PA 17603.
