Charles L Diirner (Chuck), 64, of Ephrata, passed away on Sunday January 18th at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Karen M Diirner and together they spent 42 years of marriage. He was last employed by C J Diirner & Sons Inc., where his sons will carry on his tradition. He spent a large portion of his early years employed by F R Behm & Sons in Lititz. For all that knew him, they knew he lived life his way, no exceptions and to the fullest. He was the husband & father that would do anything for his wife & children. He was the son of the Late Charles M Diirner of Lititz. He is survived by his mother Ruth E Diirner of Huntington, PA and sister Mary J Diirner of East Petersburg. He has passed his passion for life and his hard work ethic onto his four sons: Charles M Diirner of Akron, husband of Jessica (Baker) Diirner, Jacob L Diirner of Ephrata, husband of Heidi (Nace) Diirner, Jason L Diirner, husband of Melody (Holbrook) Diirner of Ephrata, and Lee R Diirner of Lancaster, husband of Gina (McGinnis) Diirner. He was the Grandfather ("Pappy" as they called him) to Brooke G Diirner, Marcus A Diirner, and Charles R Diirner, all of Akron, PA; Cody W Diirner, Katlyn M Diirner, Jason C Diirner, Alexis M Diirner, Chandler K Diirner, Gavin J Diirner, Jordan R Diirner, Brandon Nace, Taylor Hornberger, Amber Lamphere, Alisha Holbrook, Cheryle Wilkinson and William Wilkinson, of Ephrata. He was Great Grandfather to Bradley M Nace of Denver, PA. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. RIP Dad you left your mark in this world and let us tell you it was a "BIG ONE ". Your memory will live on through all of the stories we will share with each other on a daily basis. We were proud to call you a Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. You will be missed.
