Charles Bordy Jr., 55, of Elizabethtown, PA, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2024, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Warren, OH, he was the son of the late Tempa Ruth (Dunlap) and Charles Bordy Sr.

Charles had a variety of hobbies. He would go fishing with his children, whether it was at Muddy Run or Safe Harbor Dam. Fishing outings provided them with precious moments and memories.

He was an avid reader and also a Nascar racing fan.

He cherished his family deeply, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride.

Charles is survived by his wife Susan of Elizabethtown, his children: Charles III of California, Samantha Zimmerman of NJ, Brittany Duncan (Rafael Peluyera) of York, Justin Bordy, and Kevin Bordy of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Dayton, Chelsea, Noah, Lucy, and Ruby, as well as his siblings: N. Thomas Barninger (Janis) and William Dunlap (Kathy), and Nancy Odom. He was preceded in death by siblings: Bea, Carl, Susan, Tempa, and brother-in-law Bob Odom.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Echos, 105 E. Washington Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
