Charles "Brother" "Chalie" Cutts, 85, of Denver, passed away peacefully at Oak Leaf Manor North on October 18, 2024. Born at home in Vincentown, NJ, he was the son of the late Edward and Emma (Davis) Cutts. He was married 65 years to his beloved wife, Patricia L. (Steen) Cutts.
Charles was a graduate of Pemberton High School in NJ. He served as a Pemberton Councilman and as a member of the Pemberton Volunteer Fire Department before moving to Pennsylvania where he continued working at Boeing Helicopters before retiring after 32 years. For the next 25 years he worked both as a lab courier for Ephrata Hospital and as a bus driver for the Cocalico School District. He served 37 years as a member and former President of the East Cocalico Lion's Club. He served as a member of the Reamstown Volunteer Fire Department. He served as the President of a "Good Sam" Camping Club.
In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by 2 sons: George Cutts (Marina Sanchez) and James "Jim" Cutts (Barbara Kelly); 7 grandchildren: Matthew (Megan), Jessica (Thomas), Marissa (Owen), JamesOwen (Emily), Samuel, James Jr. and Gracie; 2 great-grandchildren: Charley and Thomas; 6 siblings: Lida "Sister", Catherine "Susie", Ken "Kenny", Betty "Betsy", Albert "Al", Ron "Ronnie" and a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Charles, Jr., granddaughter Abigail, and siblings Harry, William, Arthur "Sonny" and Ralph "Ralphie".
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 11 AM at Odd Fellows Cemetery II, 217 Odd Fellows Road, Pemberton, NJ 08068.
