“Chuck” Williams

Charles E. "Chuck" Williams, 69, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at LGH. He was born in McKeesport, PA to the late William D. and Jane (Byrnes) Williams. Chuck is survived by his wife Janyce (Shema) Williams. Chuck graduated from California University of Pennsylvania focusing in Secondary Education and Industrial Arts. His career spanned from being a teacher, to a Principal of Red Lion Christian School where he also served as assistant Pastor at Red Lion CMA to First Aid sales with Zee Medical Service. Chuck was a long time attendee of LCBC. He loved gardening, telling jokes, studying Bible scripture and spending time with his family and friends. Surviving in addition to his wife, are three children, David C. Williams, husband of Jennifer, of Hershey, Jon C. Williams, of Hawaii, Jessica Jayne Patterson, wife of Nathan, of Lancaster, three brothers, James "Jimmy" Williams, husband of Maureen, of Charleston, SC, Robert Williams, husband of Renee, of Monroeville, Rev. John "Jack" T. Williams, husband of Susan of Cleveland, OH, and a sister Phyllis McFadden, of Monroeville. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 10AM at LCBC Manheim, 2392 Mount Joy Rd. Manheim, PA 17545 with the Rev. Matthew Parks officiating. A visitation will take place at LCBC from 9-10AM. Military Honors will be rendered by the Red Rose Veterans Honor Guard. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Central PA Chapter 2405 Park Drive Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
