Charles R. "Bo" Smith, 70, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at LGH surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Stoutzenberger) Smith. He was the longtime companion of Doris McCauley with whom he shared over 35 years. Bo was a truck driver for Exide Batteries for many years. He was an avid baseball fan and especially liked the Philadelphia Phillies. Bo also enjoyed NASCAR, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing his online slot machines on the computer, watching the Price Is Right and watching old western movies. He is survived by his three daughters, Ashley L. Smith, Julie A. Rosaly, wife of Rafael and Martha I. Rodriguez, wife of Miguel all of Lancaster. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Janessa, Michael, Brandon, Gavin, Jose, Isabel; seven brothers, Richard, George, Barry, Eddie, Kenny, Bobby, Jimmy and one sister, Barb and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA. 17602. Interment to follow in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM at the funeral home on Saturday.
