Cecilia "Ceil", Dochat Hoffman, 89, formally of 656 St. Joseph Street, Lancaster, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006, at Brethren Village.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Christian J. and Anna M. Klos Dochat. Cecilia was the wife of the late Daniel Russell Hoffman, who died in 1966.

Mrs. Hoffman worked at her family's Dochat Fruit and Vegetable stand at Central and Southern Markets, and from 1966 to 1984, she worked at Teck News Agency. She was a Life Long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, their Altar Rosary Society and the PCBL and Akron Relief Association.

Surviving is a daughter, Shirley A., wife of George Watts Jr. of Lancaster; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Floyd D. Hoffman; and fifteen  brothers and sisters. She was the last of her immediate family.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church,440 St. Joseph Street, Lancaster, PA on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA.
