Cathyann Lafferty, 65, of Lancaster, passed away at her residence on Saturday, January 23, 2016, surrounded by her family.

She was the wife of Edward J. Lafferty and, born in Philadelphia, was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Catherine Neadd Buckler.

Cathy had worked as a personal trainer at the YMCA in Doylestown as well as an care worker at a senior retirement community in the Poconos. She was a member of St. Leo The Great Catholic Church.

Her family was her greatest treasure and she enjoyed spending her time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Ed, she is survived by her children: Sean P. married to Susan Lafferty of Millersville and Kevin S. married to Becki Lafferty of Havertown; her four grandchildren Jammison, Shea, Kyle, and Declan; and by her sister, Gail. L. married to Scott Hamilton of Mountain City, TN.

Friends will be received on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 10-11AM at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA , with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11AM.
