Catherine M. Wittensoldner, 95, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Schoeflueg, Bavaria, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Katharina (Weidinger) Molz. She was married to Michael Wittensoldner who passed away in 1986.

Catherine worked for Miesse Candies for over 28 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Mother's Club and the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, painting and spending time with her family.

Surviving are 2 daughters: Marie Ward, wife of John N. and Joan Buckius, wife of Thomas, all of Lancaster; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10AM on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St., Lancaster, PA with Msgr. Thomas H. Smith as Celebrant. Family and friends will be received from 9-10AM at the church. Interment will be at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
