Catherine J. (Schneider) Wendler, 87, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Grace (Wimmer) Schnieder. She was the wife of the late Earl L. Wendler who died in 1980.

Catherine worked for Schick for over 25 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Catherine was an avid bowler.

Catherine is survived by 2 daughters; Marcia L. Dorer wife of Kevin of Conestoga and Jean M. Morgan wife of Lou of Newport, PA. 2 grandchildren and 6 great grand children.

A Christian Prayer Service will be held Monday, June 30, 2008 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home 414 E. King St. Lancaster 17602 at 11 a.m.. Friends will be received before the service at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m.. Interment will be at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman PA.
