Catherine J. "Kay" Foutz, 86, of Lancaster, formerly of Millersville, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Janice Brosey.

Kay was a graduate of Penn Manor High School. She worked for Millersville University as an Interlibrary Loan Specialist in the University library for many years and retired in 2002. After retirement, Kay cherished spending time at her place in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Kay enjoyed being outdoors and in her earlier years enjoyed cycling and kayaking. She also expressed her creative side through painting, a hobby she had for several years. Finally, Kay had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, who have always held a special place in her heart.

She is survived by her two children, Eric and Karen Foutz, and a brother.

Family and friends will be received from 10AM to 11AM on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N George St., Millersville, PA 17551. A Memorial Service will follow beginning at 11AM.
