Carolyn M. Roberts, 88, formerly of Lancaster, died Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Mease Continuing Care in Dunedin, FL. Born in Lancaster, she was the Daughter of the late John P. and Caroline (Zimmerman) Wendel. Her husband, Fredrick L. Roberts died in 1999.

A graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, Class of 1945, Carolyn was a loving homemaker for her family. She enjoyed reading and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Carolyn is survived by two sons, Patrick J. Roberts, husband of Jacqueline of Holtwood, and Thomas F. Roberts of Palm Harbor, FL; 5 grandchildren, Cari, Amanda, Ben and Kurt Roberts and Erin Roberts-McComsey; and her great-grandson Camden McComsey.

A viewing will take place from 10 to 11 am, followed by the Funeral Mass at 11 am, on Friday, August 28, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 440 St. Joseph St., Lancaster, PA 17603. The Rev. Stephen Kelley will be the Celebrant. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
