Caroline M. (Kocisek) Horvath, 87, formerly of Lancaster, died March 1, 2015 at Landis Homes. Born in Ford City on March 21, 1927, she was the wife of the late Frank Horvath, who died in 1994. She was the daughter of the late Matthew and Mary (Rahal) Kocisek. She and her husband lived in McKeesport for 18 years before moving to Lancaster in 1976. Caroline attended Waynesburg College and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Hygiene. She was formerly a member of the American and Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists Associations. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church where she participated in the church bazaar for several years. She worked for the US Government in the PA unit traveling from school to school to administer sodium fluoride to children's teeth. After two years she worked for the Kittanning School District teaching dental hygiene. Caroline is survived by two daughters: Amy, wife of David Wilburn of Huntsville, AL and Tara Faro of Lititz; 5 grandchildren: Jesse and Mark Wilburn, Terri Rutledge, and Alexis and Antonio Faro; one great-grandson, Noah Wilburn, and one on the way, Jonah Wilburn. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Landis Homes East Bethany Chapel, 1001 E. Oregon Rd., Lititz with Pastor Jim Leaman officiating. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private. Kindly omit flowers.
