Caroline S. Keister, 90, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at Hospice and Community Care in Mt. Joy, PA.

She was the wife of the late Richard E. Keister, who passed away in 1985. Born in Gettysburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Russell Smiley and the late Lucy Redding Hiemenz and stepdaughter of the late J. Henry Hiemenz.

Caroline had been a homemaker and had worked at Franklin & Marshall College in years past. She was a 23 year member of AA.

She is survived by her children: Richard E. married to Phyllis Keister of Lancaster, Rebecca A. married to Robert Rupel of Coopersburg, PA, and Missy married to Fred Alizadeh of Orange County, CA; her 4 grandchildren Robert, Gretchen, Ritchie, and Aiden, and by her 5 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Saturday, January 4, 2013 from 9:30-10:30AM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with a Christian Prayer Service to follow at 10:30AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
