Carol Fraunfelter, 78, of Lititz departed this life on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. She was the widow of Donald C. Fraunfelter, Sr. The daughter of the late Pauline and Harry Hapner, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Hugh Hapner, Jr. and a sister, June Graeter. She has one other brother, Wayne Hapner of Las Vegas, NV. Carol is survived by her three children, Cynthia Eckman of Lititz, wife of Douglas Eckman, Donald C. Fraunfelter, Jr. of Jersey Shore, PA, and Donna Wilkie of Lancaster, wife of Kevin Wilkie. She has 7 grandchildren (one deceased) and 7 great-grandchildren. Carol went to McCaskey High School in Lancaster. She worked at many different places over the years, including Andersen Pretzels, Dart Container, The General Sutter Inn, and Farmers First Bank. A member of Zion Lutheran Church in Manheim, she enjoyed helping with the summer lunch program and was a member of the Daughters of Zion ladies group. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 10, at 2:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Church, 2 S. Hazel St., Manheim. Interment will be private. Please omit flowers. Memorial gifts in her honor should be given to Zion Lutheran Church.
