Carol A. Labiak Cunningham, 61 of Lancaster died early Tuesday, October 24, 2006, after a lengthy illness. Born in Columbus GA she was the daughter of Mildred K. Labiak and the late William F. Labiak Sr. Carol was a 1963 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School.

She was employed for many years as a beautician and was most recently employed with Manheim Auto Auction. She was a member and lector of St Richards Catholic Church in Manheim where she was a volunteer for The Social Justice Group. She was also a member and lector of St Leo The Great Catholic Church in Lancaster.

Surviving in addition to her mother are one sister Jane Petts, Mount Joy, three brothers, William Labiak Jr of Millersville, Michael Labiak of Lititz, and George Labiak of Mountville. She is also survived by five nieces and three nephews and one great nephew.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA, on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery, Bausman, PA. Friends may attend the viewing at the church on Friday from 12:00-1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster PA 17604.
