Carol "Nana" Chapman, age 82, of Lancaster passed away surrounded by her loving family. Born in Washburn, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Marjorie (Duncan) Conroy.

Throughout her life, Carol embraced the simple joys that brought her happiness. She had a deep appreciation for gospel and classic country music. Family gatherings were a beloved tradition for Carol, where laughter and stories filled the air, surrounded by those she loved most. A treasured member of her local card club, she particularly enjoyed playing pinochle.

Being a patriotic individual, Carol took pride in her country and found joy in the excitement of sports. She would often be found cheering on her favorite teams, especially the Philadelphia Phillies, as well as enjoying the thrill of tennis and golf on television. Her love of nature was shown in her affection for cardinals, and she took great pleasure in sipping on her an ice-cold Pepsi.

Carol is survived by her son, Jere Chapman, Jr. (husband of Peg); her grandchildren: James Reinhart (husband of Melissa), Christopher Reinhart (husband of Meredith), Elizabeth Chapman, and Gabrielle Chapman as well as one great grandchild: Cooper Reinhart.

Along with her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her daughter: Ronnette L. Reinhart; her sister Donna Barlow and brother Allen Conroy.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at Lampeter United Methodist Church, 1101 Village Rd., Lampeter, PA 17602 from 10:00am to 11:00am with a celebration of Carol's life to begin at 11:00am. Carol will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
