With heavy hearts, the family of Carmen S. Rosa wish to share that she entered the gates of Heaven on April 16, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 72. She was born in Carolina, Puerto Rico on December 27, 1952, to Josefina Mercado and the late Catalino Rivera. Carmen shared over 46 years of marriage, memories and love with Heriberto Rosa until his passing in 2016.

Her faith played a pivotal role throughout her life. She was a long-time member of Iglesia de Dios Poder, in Lancaster, where she volunteered as the church secretary and participated in numerous activities. Her positive attitude and infectious smile drew people to love her. She found great peace in photographing flowers, nature, and the beauty of the different seasons.

Her love and memories will live on in her mother Josefina of Puerto Rico, children, Jossie Rosa, companion of Kim Jackson of Lancaster, Eddie Rosa Jr. of Florida, Gilbert Rosa, husband of Glenis of Lancaster, Richie Rosa of Lancaster, and Eddie Rosa III, husband of Ivelise of Lancaster, and her sisters, Elizabeth and Edith Garcia of Puerto Rico; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren (with one of the way). She was preceded in passing by her sister Cecilia Bonilla, her husband and her father.

The family welcome guests to a viewing on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Iglesia de Dios Poder, 602 N. Duke St. Lancaster, PA 17602, beginning at 11 AM. A service will follow at the church at 12 PM with burial to follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
