Carmen Oyola, 82, of Lancaster, passed away at ManorCare, Sinking Spring, on Sunday, January 7. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Eugenio Rolon and Juana Cartagena. She was the loving wife of Daniel Oyola Rosario who died in 2009. Carmen was a humble person who loved and accepted everyone with open arms. She had a very outgoing personality and always put the needs of others before herself. She was an awesome cook, who enjoyed feeding anyone who came into her home. Carmen was the best mother in the world and leaves behind her 6 children: Carmen, wife of Robert, Samuel, Irma, Daisy, wife of Ernest, Carlos, and Hiddeckel; she is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 8 siblings. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by 5 siblings. A viewing will be held from 10AM to 12PM, Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
