Carmen Nidia Muniz, 75, of Lititz, died Sunday, November 24, 2013 in the residence of her daughter.

Born in Moch, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Isaia Mendez and Maria Muniz.

Carmen loved gardening and had a green thumb. She was very social and made friends easily. She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Iris Cervantes and her husband Luis Angel Santiago, Jr. of Lititz; Sammy Muniz of Long Island, NY; Elida Gonzalez of Mastic, NY; and Jose A. Espejo of Long Island, NY; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 5 sisters and one brother. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Iris.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz with the Rev Alan Wolfe as Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Friday, November 29 at the funeral home, and again on Saturday one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Witness Cemetery, Lititz.
