Carlos A. Quinones-Ríos, of Lancaster, passed away on January 27, 2026. Born in Puerto Rico, Carlos was the son of the late Genaro Quinones and Desideria Ríos. He spent many years working as a jewelry polisher  for 10 years at the AVON Company in Puerto Rico and in New York for 20 years.

Carlos was a man of faith and attended RMC Church. He found joy in life's simple pleasures like baseball, word searches, and especially sharing stories with friends and family. He also had a deep appreciation for classic cars. Known and loved throughout Puerto Rico, Carlos was affectionately called "Chalo."

He is survived by his loving children: Carlos Quinones, Yanira Quinones (Jonathan Nieves), and Linda Quinones (Noel Alicea). He was a proud grandfather to Ally Rodriguez, Carlos Quinones, Dellysmarie Quinones, Kyandra Castro, Noel Alicea and Yancarlos Quinones. He is also survived by his siblings, Julio Quinones, Annie Quinones, Brunilda Quinones, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 2, at 2:30 p.m. at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
