Carlos J. Alvarado, 92, of Manheim, went home to be with the Lord on Sept. 27, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Puerto Rico, He was the son of the late Jose Alvarado Guzman & Mercedes Rodriguez. He enjoyed working on cars, tinkering with jewelry & walking in Lancaster Park. He enjoyed watching wrestling & playing dominoes. He is survived by a long-time companion & best friend, Shirley Johnson; daughters: Rose Pasker, Linda (Jack) Lewis, Della LaMarre, Debbie (Jay) Rivera; Grandchildren: Ronnie, Michael, Pete, Kaitlyn, Nyla & Sephen; Great- Grandchildren, Xander, Alyssa & Natiera; Siblings: Luis Felippe, Rosa, Juana & Lu. Carlos is preceded in death by numerous brothers & sisters. A viewing will be held on Monday, Oct., 3, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Faith Bible Fellowship Church 151 Donerville Rd. Lancaster PA, 17603. A Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Tues., Oct. 4, 2016 with a viewing from 10-11AM at the church.
