Carla Lee Jones, 52, of Lancaster, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017, at home. Born in Allentown, Carla was the daughter of Julia Ann (Moyer) Silsdorf and the late Lee Carl Silsdorf. She was the fiancé of Michael Thomas, also of Lancaster. Carla was a loyal Hershey Bears fan. She also loved spending time with her family and going to the beach. Carla was an animal lover, especially horses, dogs and cats; and enjoyed coloring books and making art. In addition to her mother and fiancé, Carla is survived by two daughters: Elizabeth Victoria Jones and Abigail Catharine Jones, both of Lancaster; her brother, Scott David Silsdorf, husband of Maria Elizabeth, of Norfolk, VA; sister-in-law, Rachel Silsdorf, of Dublin, OH; nieces and nephews: Emma, Jonah, Lauren, Leilani, and Thomas. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Carla was preceded in death by her brother Arlan Frederick Silsdorf. Family and friends will be received for a time of visitation from 10AM-11AM, Friday, March 31, 2017, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 200 W. Orange St., Lititz, PA 17543. A Memorial Service will follow at 11AM at the church. Interment will take place at Machpelah Cemetery, Lititz. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions in Carla's name be made to the charity of your choice.
