Carl H. Rettew, 69, of Lititz, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Spring Creek Rehab Center. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Sentz) Rettew to whom he was married to for 41 years. Born in Ephrata, PA, he was the son of the late Earl and Elsie Grace (Fetter) Rettew. Carl graduated from E-Town College in 1970 with a B.S. in Accounting. He worked as a Tax Accountant. He was very witty. Most of all Carl enjoyed Bible reading and his four grandchildren. In addition to his loving wife, Nancy, Carl is survived by his two children; Michael Rettew, husband of Dawn, and Tammy Carles, wife of Jeremy, four grandchildren; Madelyn, Liam, Roy, and Owen and one sister; Betty Bartsch. Carl was preceded in death by his two brothers, Roy and Paul Rettew. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 2nd, 2017 at Manheim Brethren in Christ Church, 54 N Penryn Rd, Manheim, PA 17545 at 4PM. A viewing will be held at the church from 2-4PM. The Burial will be private.
