Obituary

C. Timothy "Tim" Buckius, 54, of Millersville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 14, 2010. He was born in Lancaster and was the son of the late Charles R. and Dorothy (Anderson) Buckius.

Tim was engaged to Lori A. Chartier of Millersville.

Tim was described by those who knew him well as a "loyal friend with a heart of gold and a wicked sense of humor." A baseball player at heart, he enjoyed playing the game for years and was an avid Phillies and Red Sox fan.

He was formerly a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church.

Tim was a graduate of Penn Manor High School class of 1974.

For over 25 years Tim owned and operated his own painting contracting business.

Tim will be missed by his family and many friends.

Surviving in addition to his fiancé, is a daughter, Nicole M. Buckius, of Milton, DE, stepdaughter Tovah Gottlieb, of Millersville, two brothers Douglas, of Holtwood, and Patrick, of Columbia. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica R. Buckius in 2004.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church 2111 Millersville Pk. Lancaster, PA 17603 on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 11am with The Rev. Mark E. Weiss as Celebrant. Friends may pay their respects at the church from 10-11am. Interment will be private in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery Springfield, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lancaster County PO Box 4125 Lancaster, PA 17604.
