C. Robert Fackler, 90, of 3947 Oregon Pike, Ephrata, entered into rest August 25, 2015 at his home. He was born in York to the late Claude D. and Ruth Dyer Fackler and was the husband of Jeanne Gantz Fackler with whom he shared 65 years of marriage this past October. Bob was a memberof Zion Lutheran Church for over 55 years. He was a 1942 graduate of East Donegal High School. He then entered the Army and served as a radar operator. Back home, after going to Stevens Trade School, he worked for the Pennsylvania Scale Company for 37 years as a production manager and design engineer. Not satisfied retired, he worked for Core Source (Susquehanna Administrators, Inc.) for 16 years. In addition to his wife, Jeanne, he is survived by one daughter, Crystal Bausher, and three sons: Robert L. husband of Claudia, David R. husband of Sylvia, and Michael G. Fackler. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Also, a special niece, Joan Earhart of Elizabethtown. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Skip Smith and Bernice Brosey. At the convenience of the family, graveside services and interment will take place at Trumbauer Memorial Cemetery in Leola, with the Rev. Newell Embley.
