Obituary

Bryant A. "Brynie" Houseal, 19, of Lancaster died Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Donald E. and Julie M. (Schweers) Houseal of Lancaster.

Brynie graduated in 2006 from Lancaster Mennonite High School and from Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, where he studied Residential Construction. He was a self-employed subcontractor in the construction business, and was formerly employed at Intelligencer Printing Company during his senior year of high school.

He was a lover of the outdoors, and enjoyed hiking, swimming and camping in the woods. He also enjoyed rollerblading, snowboarding and surfing. Brynie had a passion for riding his motorcycle, playing and listening to music, especially the music of the 1960s and 1970s, and taught himself to play the guitar. He was very artistic and creative. He loved being with his friends and family, loved life, and lived life to the fullest. He was a "free bird".

In addition to his parents, Brynie is survived by two sisters: Meggie M. Houseal of Lancaster, and Nicole L., wife of Ed Borneman of Redondo Beach, CA; and a brother, Sean D., husband of Pam Houseal of Charleston, SC; and a maternal grandmother, Jean M. Schweers of Lancaster.

Please omit flowers; memorial contributions in Brynie's memory may be made to Lancaster County Conservancy, 117 South West End Avenue, PO Box 716, Lancaster, PA 17608.
