Brinton S Rutherford died on 5/31/20 at the United Zion Retirement community in Lititz, PA. He leaves behind his wife of 67 years Pearl, daughter Connie L Rutherford-Kreider, sons Brinton L, Dale C and Mark D, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Brinton served in the US Army as a mechanic. He operated two auto service stations and a lawn care business during his lifetime. He retired from Franklin and Marshall College where he maintained the presidents house and served many years as ground's maintenance supervisor for the college.

Brinton enjoyed bird watching, hunting, fishing, and maintaining his home in the Furnace Hills of Brickerville, PA. Brinton was active with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary with a passion for meeting boaters and performing Coast Guard Courtesy inspections.
