Brian Ruth, 86, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on August 5, 2025.

Born on February 6, 1939, in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Victor and Alice Ruth. A proud graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, Brian went on to attend college before enlisting in the United States Air Force. He dedicated 24 years of honorable service, retiring as a Master Sergeant and Security Supervisor.

Brian was married to the late Athanasia Ruth, with whom he shared many cherished years before her passing in 1991.

He is survived by his sister, Judith (Bob) Plank of Lancaster; his brother, Bill Melchior; his niece, Yvonne Eck of Manheim; and his nephew Ed Allison Jr. along with many other extended family members. In addition to his wife and parents, Brian was preceded in death by his siblings Patricia Crawford, Richard Ruth, and Victor Ruth.

Brian will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife at St. Joseph's New Catholic Cemetery.
