IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brian R.
Anderson
December 10, 2025
Brian R. Anderson, 53, of Brownstown, passed away on December 10, 2025, from complications related to Huntington's Disease. He died peacefully at Hospice and Community Care with his devoted wife by his side.
Born in Lancaster, Brian was the son of James L. Anderson and his wife, Cindy L. Anderson, of Lititz, and the late Susan J. Anderson of Lancaster. He was a devoted husband, father, son, and friend whose gentle presence touched everyone who knew him.
Brian and his beloved wife, Christine, were married for 29 years—nearly three decades filled with partnership, adventure, and unwavering devotion.
A 1990 graduate of Warwick High School, Brian went on to earn his degree in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University. He later completed both a Master of Engineering and an MBA, accomplishments that reflected his commitment to learning and innovation. Throughout his distinguished career, he worked for Pratt & Whitney and Lockheed Martin, contributing his expertise to projects that pushed the boundaries of aerospace technology. His work also took him to many locations, including nearly a year in Japan—a place he spoke of often and fondly.
Brian lived a life guided by kindness, patience, and service. An Eagle Scout with a lifelong love for scouting, he remained deeply involved as a leader, mentor, and role model. He believed in the power of adventure and learning by doing, values he shared generously with the next generation.
He found joy in the outdoors, whether skiing, kayaking, canoeing, or playing volleyball and football. A lover of travel, he cherished both the journeys he took for work and the early adventures he shared with Christine.
Brian is survived by his loving wife, Christine Anderson; his father, James L. Anderson, and his wife, Cindy L. Anderson; his children, Garrett, Carson, and Avery; his brother, Matthew Anderson; and his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Susan J. Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00-11:30 AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of his family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntington's Disease Society of America at www.hdsa.org .
