Obituary

Brent W. Dorsey, 58, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. He was the son of the late Walter B. Dorsey, Sr. and Christine (Washington) Warren-Dorsey. Coming from a large family he was a loving family man, spending a lot of the time with his son, Shiron. Some of the best times they had together were working out, watching football (in particular the New York Giants) or watching boxing matches. When he wasn't cheering for his team, he was found relaxing and listening to Kenny G. When the opportunity presented itself, it was not outside of his realm to take to the open road for long road trips. Not only was Brent dedicated to his family but he was also dedicated to his work. He will be remembered for working for QVC for the past 24 years. Brent is survived by his son, Shiron O. Jones (Erica L.) of Lititz; grandchildren, Gabriella, Isaiah and Olivia, all of Lititz; his sisters, Deborah A. Taylor, of Harrisburg and Cynthia Boots, of Lancaster; his brothers, Ronald Warren, Terrance Warren (Diane) and Garry Dorsey (Mary) all of Harrisburg; and his nephew Garry S. Dorsey, also of Harrisburg. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers; Howard, Darryl, Lenell, and Kimberly Warren. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory at 414 E. King St. Lancaster. Family and friends will be received from 10AM – 12PM followed by services. Interment will take place at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster, immediately following the funeral.
