Obituary

Brandon A. Rico, 22, of Newmanstown, formerly of Lititz, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 7, 2016 after being involved in a motorcycle accident. He was born in Lancaster and was the son of Barbara M. (Rico) Wagner, wife of Robert W. Wagner, of Lititz, and Raymond A. Rico, of Johnstown, PA. Brandon is survived by his fiancé, Stephanie A. Krzak. They were engaged on January 9, 2016, and a wedding was planned for May 2017. They were Warwick High School sweethearts and had a six-year relationship. Brandon graduated from Warwick High School in 2012, and attended Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Brandon was very proud of his Acting Foreman and Lead Fabricator role with Uhuru Design, a custom furniture business based in New Holland. He also was known for his welding skills. Brandon was an avid outdoorsman, and loved hunting with Steph, his younger brother Eric, as well as other family members and friends. He enjoyed big game, small game, archery, and his annual snow goose hunts, in addition to shooting and fishing. He loved photography and country music, especially Eric Church, as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins, and Jeeps. He was a member of the Lititz VFW. Most of all, many will remember him as a very kind soul with a big spirit who was a great friend to all, and loved his family dearly. Surviving in addition to his parents and fiancé; are three brothers, Eric W. Rico, of Lititz, Michael A. Wagner, of Lititz, Brandon M. Wagner, of Stevens, paternal grandmother, Rhoda Papcunik, wife of Tom, of Johnstown, and many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Florence and Wayne Himes, and paternal grandfather, Raymond Rico. Family and friends are respectfully invited to honor Brandon at a viewing on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike. A funeral tribute will be held following the viewing at 7 p.m. with Pastor Michael Nolt officiating. All are invited to the committal service on Saturday, October 15 at 10 a.m. at Brunnerville United Methodist Church Cemetery, Pine Hill Rd, Lititz, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Brandon's memory may be made to The Wolf Sanctuary of PA, 465 Speedwell Forge Rd., Lititz, PA 17543.
