Bonnie Sue Bonawitz, 53, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, September 20, 2103, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Doris Lefley Lockard. She was the wife of Greg Bonawitz for 30 years.

A graduate of Manheim Township High School, Bonnie worked many years in the medical records department at Lancaster NeuroScience and Spine Associates and previously at OBGYN.

Bonnie enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with her husband Greg. Together they shared a love of family and friends. Bonnie's interest included reading, crafts and music. In her younger years, she enjoyed going to baseball, basketball and hockey games with her dad. Bonnie had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs. She loved taking care of Parker, Sasha, Gretchen and Toby.

Bonnie is survived by her husband Greg, son Chris, sister Susan and many cousins.
