Blia Chong Vang, 97, of Leola, passed away, Monday, March 11, 2024. Born in Xiangkhouang, Laos, he was the son of the late Chong Her Van and Cha Vue. He was the husband of Chou Kha.

Blia worked under the CIA, as part of the Special Gorilla Unit during the Vietnam War. He also worked as a farmer. He enjoyed going for walks, tending to his garden, and spending time fishing.

In addition to his wife, Chou, he is survived by his children: Yang, Sua, Seu, Pangxe, and Xua Vang. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A viewing and service will be held at Charles F Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Crematory on March 22, 2024, Friday from 6PM-9PM and the following Saturday 9 AM to 11 AM. Interment will follow at Weaverland Mennonite Cemetery, East Earl PA.
