Blanca Perez, 76, of Lancaster passed away March 2, 2017 at her home. She was the wife of the late Jose' M. Rivera. Born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico she was a daughter of the late Anastasio Perez and Joaquina Torres. Blanca enjoyed listening to 91.3 WLCH and spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by three children, Nilda Rivera of Lancaster, Tony and Blue, both of Philadelphia; four grandchildren by Nilda Rivera, Abigail, wife of Jose' Mercado, Madelyne, wife of Daniel Vasquez, Nelly Torres and Jorge Torres; two great-grandchildren Samuel Mercado and Daniel Vasquez; also, three stepchildren, Papo, Mon, and Luis; and Blanca's three sisters: Santa Perez, Gabriel Perez, Aurora Perez. Blanca was preceded in death by two brothers Raul and Tono Perez.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11AM from the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602 with Rev. Abigail Mercado, granddaughter of Blanca officiating. Interment will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10am until the time of her service at the funeral home.
