Obituary

Beverly A. Arnold, 92, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully at Hamilton Arms Nursing Home, Sunday, December 1, 2024. Born in Minneapolis, MN, she was the daughter of the late Clarence E. and Matilda C. (Magnuson) Nordstrom. She was the loving wife of the late Harry C. Arnold, to whom she was married in 1951.

Bev earned her associate degree from the University of Minnesota – Duluth. She worked as an import specialist for US Customs until her retirement. Upon retirement, Harry and Bev moved to Green Valley, AZ where they enjoyed the dry heat. Following Harry's passing, Bev moved to Lancaster to be closer to family.

Beverly was active in her church, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Millersville; she was a member of the Call Committee and a Bible Study Group. She scrupulously proofread bulletins and baked cookies to share after services.

Bev was a prolific letter writer and never missed sending notes or cards for birthdays, holidays and special occasions. She enjoyed cooking and baking, bead and needlework, and attending the theater wherever she lived.

Bev is survived by her son, Michael E. Arnold, husband of Tracy, of Lancaster; her grandson, Robert Arnold, of Lancaster; and three honorary daughters: Georgia, Sara, and Nancy Mohon, all of Kentucky.
