Betty J. "Stomper" Loose, 86, of Lititz, passed away on February 18, 2024 at Hospice & Community Care in Mt. Joy.

Born in Lititz, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Edna (Hilton) Miller.

Betty was a Woodstream Corp. retiree. She was also a Bonfield Elementary crossing guard for 18 years. She will be remembered for her holiday costumes and enjoyed greeting the children every morning.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori (Nevin) Weidler, of Stevens, PA; her sister, Sally (Lynn McJunkin) Sheaffer, of York, PA; her granddaughter and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Bud" Loose; her stepson, Raymond; two sisters, Patricia Loar and Linda Price; and her brother, John Sheaffer.

There will be no services held at this time.
