Betty J. Shenk, 94, of East Petersburg passed away at Conestoga View on July 5, 2018. Born in Lancaster she was the daughter of the late John R. Gilbert and Beatrice E. (Trimble) Gilbert. Betty was an avid reader who also enjoyed cross stich and knitting. She is survived by her daughters Susan Morgan (Kenneth) and Sharon Charles and son Eugene Cox. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, and a sister Mary Gohn. She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Shenk, her daughter, Kathleen Cox, sister, Grace Hill, and a great-grandson, Cody Lambert. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday July 10, 2018 at Living Light Mennonite Cemetery located at 2625 Safe Harbor Rd, Washington Boro, PA 17582.
