IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Betty
Primaldi
October 2, 1936 – August 13, 2023
Betty Jean Sage Primaldi of Quarryville, entered into heaven on August 13th at 8:22pm at Lancaster General Hospital. Daughter of the late Clinton and Hazel Sage, Betty Jean was born in Rugby, Virginia on October 2nd, 1936. She attended River Hill School and Prospect Hill School, (both one room school houses), for eight years. She attended Penn Manor High School, formerly Manor Joint High and graduated in 1954.
Betty worked for Mari-Bob restaurant for seven years, the Ol' Sheriff's Place in Nottingham for six years, and Nottingham Breakfast House from which she retired due to disability.
She was married to the late Raymond Primaldi of Willow Street who preceded her in death in January 2004. Betty is the loving mother of one daughter, Lynda R. Pederson of Quarryville, and one son, Jeffrey R. Primaldi and wife Julie A. Primaldi of Strasburg. She was the most amazing and wonderful Grammy to Kian A. R. Pederson and Kalyn R. S. Pederson, significant other to David Pugh, of Quarryville. The son and daughter of Lynda.
She felt a special blessing from God to be able to be in the delivery room in April 2008 for the birth of her first great-grandchild Gabriella C.S. Pugh. And again in December 2010 for the birth of her second great-grandchild Adriana C. R. Pugh. Both daughters of Kalyn Pederson and David Pugh. Betty thought lovingly of them both as her special little miracles. She got to feed them, rock them, watch them grow, spoil them, and most of all love them.
Betty Jean was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Darrel, Harold, and Irwin Sage. And 3 sisters: Naomi Pringle, Colleen Kissinger, and Lucille Aukamp. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, Jean Lechner, wife of late nephew Vince Lechner, and a very special and loyal friend: Jim McDowell of Quarryville. Betty was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Charles F. Snyder funeral home in charge of arrangements. Her viewing, funeral, and internment will be held at her childhood parish: Colemanville United Methodist Church, 210 Colemanville Church Rd. Conestoga, PA 17516 on August 22nd.
