Betty J. Nolan, 85, of Oak Leaf Manor in Millersville, passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Lancaster General Hospital.

She was the wife of the late William R. Nolan, who passed away in 1988. Born in Rossmere, she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Elsie L. Troop Heiney.

Betty had been a member of Pearl Street United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her 3 daughters: Linda Jenks of Avon, IN, Connie married to Donald Mowery of Millersville, and Carol married to John Trovage of Methuen, MA; 10 grandchildren,17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is also survived by her sister, Mary  married to Richard Jeffries of Pequea and her 2 brothers, Earl married to Betty Heiney of Lancaster and Robert married to Gloria Heiney of Willow Street.

Friends will be received on Monday, November 1, 2010 from 1-2PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA, with the Memorial Service to follow at 2PM.
