Betty Jean Mertens, 90, of Landisville, PA, passed away on October 22, 2018 at Oak Leaf Manor North. Born in Barnesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Hannah (Grant) Drew. Betty was the loving wife to the late Norman Mertens. Betty retired as Executive Secretary with 35 years of service from Warner Lambert. She was a 50-year member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church. Betty was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and loved the ocean. Betty's favorite pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving is a daughter, Diane Cramer, wife of Richard; 2 grandchildren: Stacey Eckenrode, wife of Eric, and Kimberly Morales, wife of Steven; 5 great-grandchildren: Meghan, Jack, Natalie, Piper, Avery and 1 on the way! Betty is preceded in death by 3 siblings: Helen DeWalt, Peg Prater and Ed Drew. Family & Friends are invited to a Graveside Service being held at 11 AM on Monday, October 29, 2018 at Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church Cemetery, W. Orange Street, Lititz, PA.
